Pope Orders Holocaust Denier To Recant

One small step for sanity in the church. The AP:
The Vatican demanded Wednesday that a bishop who denied the Holocaust recant his positions before being fully admitted into the Roman Catholic Church.

The Vatican also said in a statement that Pope Benedict XVI didn't know about Bishop Richard Williamson's views when he agreed to lift his excommunication and that of three other ultraconservative bishops Jan. 21.

So the Pope didn't know their views when he lifted the excommunication?! Did he even ask why they were censured?

This has been and continues to be such a bizarre and sad development for our Catholic brothers. I pray this is the beginning of the end of the SOCIETY OF ST. PIUS X's seriously misguided agenda.

Blessings,

John.
