One Out Of Two Wouldn't Be Bad
Will Andrew Sullivan announce tomorrow that he's finally satisfied (along with the rest of the world) that Sarah Palin's youngest child is Sarah Palin's youngest child? I'll bet yes. Will he admit that he erred in republishing and amplifying a shameful lie about Palin and her minor daughter before checking the facts? I'll bet no. Instead, he'll argue that the "nuanced and detailed narrative" in Palin's memoir is an implicit response to his "questions" and that he has actually performed a public service by coaxing the details from her.
