2012 GOP Debacle Watch

Andrew Sullivan quotes a blogger who argues that liberal journalists really like Sarah Palin because her GOP will be easy to beat. Moderate Republicans should like her, too. Only another stinging defeat will result in a reappraisal of what the party stands for, and that's just what we'll get in 2012 with Palin leading the ticket. Besides, since President Obama is likely to win, why waste a Republican who actually might?
