Actually, We'd Rather Not

The LA Times, which folded its Orange County edition several years ago as it and every other newspaper in the country downsized, is reinvigorating its local bureau with new personnel -- and here's why:
[W]hen news breaks – whether it be a salon massacre, a homeless killing spree or the all-too-familiar wildfires, we’ll be better equipped than ever to cover it.
Been here, done that. Let's be a little more optimistic.
