Recent archaeological finds
bolster the notion that homo sapiens wandered out of Africa as long as 200,000 years ago. But the
discovery of near-human remains in Israel suggest that humankind was in the Middle East -- not far west of Eden -- another 200,000 years before that. Might this be a tooth that bit the apple?
