Even The Trees Cry Out
The olive trees in the Garden of Gethsemane are said to be hundreds of years old. Their roots probably nurtured the trees that lived in Jesus's time. The bark of almost every tree looks like a face in agony. Sent from my Verizon Wireless BlackBerry
As a local historian I find that even after a great deal of research, actually visiting a site (even a heavily altered one) gives me a great deal more understanding.
Of course, I'm usually just poking around old buildings, ranches, mines, etc.
I can only imagine what this trip must be like for you and your fellow pilgrims. Thanks for giving us glimpses.
